Afterthoughts Of Miraroma and Lyrical Lyric

Once you walked down Asakura Nanao's path, though ... I have to say, I didn't expect her character to change that much, though I suppose I should have expected it the moment Takuto confessed his feelings to Nanao. The whole confession between the two of them was actually interrupted, and it took Takuto to finish what Nanao tried to start, as Nanao felt too insecure of herself at this point.

She was afraid that she would simply be imposing 10 long years of longing on him should she ever tell him her true feelings, and this is essentially the whole dilemma between Takuto and Nanao's relationship. Nanao, thanks to her insecurities, feels that she isn't enough for Takuto and that he might leave her at any moment, while Takuto continuously reassures her that such a thing won't happen, and that she's the only one for him. Of course, this is an eroge, so the whole "Takuto reassuring Nanao" bit happens through physical acts of intimacy.

The whole confession scene - Nanao’s too scared to open the door and face Takuto after all that she’s blurted out, so Takuto tells her his side of the story through closed doors The whole confession scene - Nanao's too scared to open the door and face Takuto after all that she's blurted out, so Takuto tells her his side of the story through closed doors

While there are amusing moments in between, the whole of Nanao’s path seems to show just how much pent-up feelings she’s built up for Takuto, and how Takuto can carefully handle her feelings without hurting her in some manner. In a sense, it reminds me of Miraroma’s Tsukimiya Kaede and how she’s always “been seeing only Shinichi ever since she met him again”. Nanao however, unlike Kaede, is less submissive to her lover’s wills and is much more fitful than the ever-willing Kaede. If Shinichi was the one who usually goaded Kaede into doing ecchi things with him, it’s the other way around in Lyrical Lyric: it’s Nanao who leads Takuto into doing ecchi stuff with her, simply because she wants to know, and be reassured by, just how much he loves her, and how far he’s willing to go with her.

The reason for this is, in a sense, Nanao really hasn’t grown up as much as she thought for the past ten years, much like her feelings. And when she realizes that Takuto feels the same way about her, that their feelings are reciprocated, therein lies her path for the future, not only in terms of time (ie what happens now?) but also in terms of her growth. She’s always wanted to thank the person who taught her “true strength”, though it wasn’t so much as “thank” as it was to “appreciate”, not just the ideal of “true strength”, but also the person who imparted the idea to her. And, with that, she also wanted to develop “true strength” by being alongside that person - Takuto, who saved Nanao from a car accident ten years ago. Her gradual character development isn’t just present in the relationship that she has with Takuto, it’s also evident during the conflict between her and Florido (god, the romanji, I can’t spell it worth crap!) while she possessed Tomoe. That part of the story was a way of showing how Nanao came to rely on her friends, acting has her emotional and spiritual support for all those years, and how she trusts and values them. This shows how Nanao puts her faith in people, and how she can move forward with the help of others - how to put the past aside and create a future for herself, alongside the man who taught her “true strength” all those years ago.

It wasn’t all perfect, though - for one thing, I felt that the whole Florido arc was quite dragging after a time. It felt repetitive after a certain event, and it seemed as if Florido’s actions herself were inconsistent even though she’d been following orders from someone whose position was higher than hers. Also, it felt as if certain ero scenes in Nanao’s path were put there just for the sake of having them there, as they did little to the overall plot. Still, it was quite entertaining, though I did miss Nanao’s whole “YOU GONNA GET COBRA TWIST’D” personality.

Takami Rin’s route, on the other hand, has the confession happening much later in the game. In Nanao’s route, the confession happens a day after Princess Arietta is freed, while in Rin’s route, it happens several days after the same event. Those several days, however, are spent showing just how close Rin and Takuto eventually become, with one of those days causing Nanao to faint and suffer from a sudden seizure, with Ryouko- iinchou apologetically scolding the two for being “lovey-dovey” so early in the morning and in the presence of so many people.

She then tells the two to try and refrain from doing it again, especially in front of Nanao as such a sight is hazardous for her health. As Rin gradually warms up to Takuto’s character, more of her character is gradually revealed: she’s hesitant to involve other people in her affairs not because she’s the type of person who likes being a loner, but because she has no choice, that she has to. The reason for this is explained when Rin accidentally blurts out that she likes Takuto, after which she runs off.

Takuto calls up his dad for two things: to confess his feelings for Rin to his father, and to ask him how Rin is related to him and his father. Takuto at first thinks that Rin is possibly his sister, thanks to a photograph involving her and his father that Takuto found in his belongings. After a dramatic confession by Takuto made less dramatic by his father’s hysterical laughter, Takuto’s father tells him the truth. Takami Rin isn’t actually his sister from god knows where: she’s actually a girl adopted by Takuto’s father’s professor, whose name was Takami. When he died, however, Takuto’s father was the only person that Rin really got to know (and nejoyed spending time with), and the photograph was taken during that time. They found Rin, along with Takuto, ten years ago when Takuto’s father was exploring some ruins.

That was also the time when Rin was sent from Harmonia to Melodia by her father, the Tuner of Harmonia, because Oratoria was after the two of them. Though her father died, Rin was sent to the “other world”, or our world, Melodia, and was soon entrusted to Takuto’s care. As a sort of “contract” for taking care of Rin, Rin’s father then passes on his tuning powers to Takuto before dying, and this is how Takuto actually became the Tuner of Melodia. Of course, Rin didn’t tell anyone about this, not even Takuto, not until the time came when he needed to know about everything, which is when Princess Arietta started calling for Takuto’s help.

The whole confession between Rin and Takuto happens afterwards, with Takuto rushing to Rin’s apartment to see if she’s there, when she’s actually waiting for him in the park. Rain soon starts to fall, and Takuto rushes out to meet her after checking a mail on his phone that came while he was having the aforementioned talk with his dad. On a sidenote, Takuto’s dad told him to use rubber - now that’s what I call a responsible dad.

Takuto’s relationship with Rin feels somewhat more mature than the one he has with Nanao if you pick her route, simply because Rin’s character doesn’t feel as immature as Nanao’s. Both of them like to make sarcastic jabs at each other and not take it personally, though Rin does like to play around with Takuto from time to time. One example of this is, during the Utahime search, Rin has Takuto agree on searching for the Utahime in the pool. According to her, a lot of people would surely be in the pool since it’s summertime, and surely the utahime might be there, at least. Seeing the logic in her words, Takuto takes her up on it.

When they get there, though, it seemed as if Rin had a different idea. Not only did she not mind the absence of the utahime when they got there, but she absolutely loved the attention that both she and Takuto got from everyone there. Rin attracted attention thanks to her excellent figure, and Takuto for being with Rin - much to the jealousy and envy of many guys. Rin even had Takuto apply suncreen on her body, much to Takuto’s disappointment and Rin’s joy.

Most of the ero scenes involving Rin are all thanks to her acting like a wagamama musume , or a spoiled child, as she admits herself. She’s also fiercely possessive of Takuto, though she doesn’t make it apparent, or even admit it. This is because he’s the only familiar thing in her life, as she’s in a mostly unfamiliar world - Melodia, though it’s not like she can just return to Harmonia and live in peace afterwards.

Her possessiveness is shown later in the game when she refuses to tell Takuto who the utahime is, as knowing who it is would help restore order in both Melodia and Harmonia and avoid the gradual disintegration of the two worlds. This is because, as the Tuner, Takuto is destined to spend the rest of his life with the Utahime - the Tuner to compose songs for the Utahime , and the Utahime to sing those songs. And Rin is afraid to lose Takuto to that person should he realize who the Utahime is.

It turns out that Asakura Nanao is the Utahime of Melodia, and even though Takuto soon learns of this fact, he still retains his feelings for Rin. After the ceremony necessary to correct the balance between both worlds was performed, Takuto and Rin head over to the ruins where they first met, with Takuto finally able to remember the whole event that happened then, with Rin’s father handing not only Rin over to Takuto, but also his tuning abilities, sealing his promise to protect “that child”.

Afterthoughts Of Miraroma and Lyrical Lyric

Kaede is the soft-spoken, well-meaning shy bishoujo who shares the same class with the main lead, Takahara Shinichi, and is also the number one object of desire for every guy in heir school. She's the embodiment of yamato nadeshiko, to an extent (though you should take that with a grain of salt), according to every male in their school. She's also smart, excels in her academics, and is just about friendly with everyone, thanks to the smile that she never seems to lose. Kaede's also very good at cooking, though the guys don't know this, and even Shinichi was surprised when Kaede demonstrated her cooking prowess to him after she moved in.

She's also part of the Tea Ceremony Club , Where she works hard in making good tea. She's near-perfect, but Kaede herself doesn't admit to this and will be quite embarrassed should it be pointed out to her.

Aside from her school role, she's also known as the Miko of the Tsukimiya Shrine. Kaede is trying her best to become a good exorcist, but according to her family, her potential is nowhere near close to being a good exorcist, and she should just stick to her usual miko duties, such as tending to the shrine, selling charms and prayers and whatnot.

Shinichi and Kaede were always in the same class up to now, though he's never really had a chance to talk to her ( or so he thinks). His first talk with her was when she approached him after class, where she brought up the topic of Shinichi's "curse". She claimed that she heard about Shinichi's predicament from God, and that she wanted to help purify Shinichi's curse, after much stuttering, blushing and mojimoji-ing. Though, when she was to bring up the manner of how to remove the curse from him, Shinichi ran off and left her alone in the classroom out of embarrassment .

A lot of the events that involve Kaede are hilarious, with sickeningly sweet moments. For example, during lunchtime, Ai-chan will usually rush over to Shinichi's classroom and share her bento with him. Kaede takes this moment as an opportunity to show her gratitude to Shinichi for allowing her to move in with him, and she offers to likewise share her bento… only, we're talking about "Yome One" here.

Naturally, as a result, the guys end up making their death glares and killing intents known to Shinichi, though Kaede's oblivious to the entire thing. As Shinichi thinks to himself:

Here is the Palace has declined, it is happy with the lunch time is not bad. No, this academy class…… many of the boys and I see no cause a rift in the friendship you afraid. た。 A jealous man who burned a picture of his opponent afloat vanished. …… This EEEEEE…….

He accepts Kaede’s offer, though, and can’t help but wonder why (in the usual dense harem protagonist manner) why Kaede is always blushing, stuttering and mojimoji -ing around him. Scenes like these are both hilarious and ridiculously sweet, if you take into account Kaede’s character. Also, her spiritual potential is actually much greater than that of Erika’s, and even Erika herself accedes to this fact after a certain event in the game when the two of them try to purify an evil spirit, which originally came from Shinichi’s room, that had possessed Ryouto. Though Kaede was unable to handle the spirit at first and was knocked unconscious, she easily cut it down after it posed a threat to Shinichi, which surprised Erika.

What sealed the deal for me, though, was Kaede’s confession. It accurately depicts just why Kaede behaves this way towards Shinichi, shy yet protective at the same time. Back when they were just kids, Kaede was often bullied by a group of boys. Unable to tell anyone else, she put up with their bullying, and she cried a lot afterwards.

During a rainy day, her favorite umbrella was missing, and she started to cry because she couldn’t handle the thought of losing something that she liked so much. A boy, upset (pissed off is the right term here, actually) with her crying demanded to know why she was crying in the first place. After many sobs and apologies, Kaede blurted out that it was because a group of boys took it, and the boy asked her if they were still around. He left after she told him that she saw them in their classroom right before she found out that her umbrella was gone, and when he returned, slightly injured and bruised, he brought her umbrella along with him. After that, he becomes her first ever friend, and she invites him to their Shrine so they could play together. Kaede tries to make him tea, but he finds it too bitter and tells her to just do better at it next time. Then they talk about the shrine's affairs, in which Kaede corrects Shinichi's perception of mikos as maids of a Shinto Shrine. He then brings up the possibility of Kaede becoming an independent miko, to which Kaede says is an impossiblity. According to her family , Kaede is unable to become a miko because of her low spiritual ability, her fear of ghosts, and that girls like her who are born into such families are doomed to become normal girls, and Shinichi objects to this.

He confidently tells her that she’ll definitely become an independent miko with the ability to vanquish any ghost, and that all her assumptions about her being a disappointment are all unfounded simply because she’s thinking what everyone else thinks.

If she thinks that her power is wonderful, then it’ll definitely be wonderful. She should also stop crying and just smile instead, because it’ll help her feel better and make more friends. After all, the reason why she was bullied in the first place was because she was pretty…though Shinichi actually think that she’s gloomy-natured, and this he tells her after she asks him as to what he thinks of her. Then he just tells her to smile, and to be polite and respectful with people. In the end, it's all because of Shinichi's efforts that Kaede ended up becoming the way she is right now: near-perfect, popular, and known as "Yome One", the ideal bride of every guy in their campus.
however, knows not too take itself too seriously, and it shows, as it even pokes fun at Kaede's long-standing crush on Shinichi. While taking down Shinichi's measurements for a Christmas present that Kaede was knitting, he took notice of her notepad, which contained various information on Shinichi, much to Kaede's embarassment. He makes a remark: "Stalker?" to which Kaede almost dies out of embarassment, as it's from all those times she's observed him from the sidelines.

Asakura Nanao, Kuu, Arietta and Takami Rin

Upon picking it up, Takatsuki notices that it looks like a score, as it has musical notes written on it, and that the paper looks somewhat old. He wants to return it to the girl the moment he sees her again, so he holds onto it for now as he heads for his class. After introducing himself to everyone, they ask him if this is his first time in this town, to which he promptly replies "no", as this was the place where he was originally from. Daidouji Ryouko, the class iinchou, welcomes Takatsuki to the class and tells him to ask for her assistance if there's anything that he doesn't understand, and after thanking her for her kind offer, another girl approaches and welcomes Takatsuki, only she calls him Takuto. She smiles warmly at him and addresses him in a familiar manner, only Takuto doesn't recognize who she is. He apologizes and tells her that he doesn't remember her all too well…

To which he promptly eats a Cobra Twist for saying such a thing.

Turns out the girl is Asakura Nanao , Takatsuki-kun's osananajimi from ten years ago. Takatsuki notes that she's really grown after all these years, and she's really glad that Takatsuki, or Takuto, as she calls him, came back after all this time. Ryouko realizes from Nanao's words that this is the same Takuto that she's been telling stories about, and Nanao offers to guide Takuto around the school since he's new. Enter another student, who barely makes it before being marked late: Hagiwara Tomoe, another of Nanao's friends. And one of the most amusing characters thisgame has to offer. Don't believe me? Check out her lines for yourself.

Tomoe "Oh my IWANE on! She is unbelievably hyper, and probably has high blood pressure too while at it. She has a fickle mind and a personality to suit it, and will often say stuff without thinking twice, or rebuke you for no reason. She also talks quite fast, and rarely gives other people a chance to answer back. After she eats two high-speed uppercuts from Nanao for almost spilling the beans, she dodges the third one, only to end up falling through the open window. And they’re on the second floor. Nanao then takes Takuto through a tour of the school, though when they reach the third floor, she tries to lead him away from the place as quickly as possibly. This is where Asakura Omi's classroom is located. Takuto remembers Omi as Nanao's reliable older brother, only it seems that ten years changed him into… well… what he is now. He's an amusing character, completely flamboyant and unashamed when it comes to declaring his love for Takuto… or for Takuto's ass, for that matter. After Nanao knocks him into sleep with another of her high-speed uppers, both she and Takuto go back to their class. Takuto then realizes that one of his classmates look familiar.

It’a the girl he bumped into earlier in the morning. Takuto approaches her and tries to start a conversation with her, despite noting that there seems to be some sort of “wall” that separates her from the rest of the class, and is treated as some sort of yuusha for even attempting to do so by every guy in class. He greets her and tries to talk about something that she might be interested in, which leads to her reminiscing about what happened between the two of them this morning, specifically the part where he accidentally fondled her chest, within everyone’s earshot. Bell "morning……? Oh, my frontal push……"

The girl's name is Takami Rin, and as Omi puts it (after barging in in a not-so-discreet manner), she is the Student Council's Sub-Chairman, or Omi's right-hand woman, as Omi himself is the Chairman (though Omi loves saying that his right hand is often thinking about Takuto…). She possesses a calm demeanor, is quick-witted and can cut off any conversation in her favor quite tactfully when she realizes that its going nowhere. She's also quite sarcastic and likes poking fun at people's weaknesses if only to see them squirm (as she herself admits later on), but not in a mean manner. She possesses an air of silent superiority and elegance around her, which is why everyone else is afraid to approach her.

Next day, Takuto goes off to the Asakura household after having finished both his and Nanao's bentos, only to be greeted by Omi. Omi tells Takuto that he usually leaves the house early because of his duties with the Student Council, and asks Takuto to be the one to wake up Nanao instead of him, since at this rate Nanao would be running late for her class. Takuto agrees, and Omi leaves after a quick fondling of Takuto's hips. Going up to Nanao's room, Takuto knocks politely and asks Nanao if she's already awake and ready to go to school, entering her room only after several knocks without a reply. He is greeted by… quite a sight, and Nanao soon wakes up after his prodding, but not after she's done talking while in her sleep, which involves not burning yakisoba, ebi fry, Takuto, and a 300 pound tackle. How those things go together,

Takuto eats yet another Cobra Twist the moment Nanao wakes up because she misunderstands the situation, though she releases him after he explains everything. She then asks if he saw her while sleeping, and for Takuto to tell her what it was that she was saying in her sleep so that it won’t be embarrassing for her . He tells her about how she slept with her futon kicked away, her stomach exposed, the whole ebi fry thing and with her face drooling and looking happy… Takuto eats yet another Cobra Twist the moment Nanao wakes up because she misunderstands the situation, though she releases him after he explains everything. Takuto gets acquainted with another schoolmate: Shiratori Kouhei (fair swan), who looks an awful lot like Ryouto of Miraroma. In fact, they share the same traits, so I won't bother listing how his character is. Later in the day, you can choose to either talk to Takami-san and try, in vain, to once again return the score that she dropped, or talk to Tomoe and Ryouko and find out more about Nanao's feelings, especially after the whole fiasco that happened during the morning. Then, during a public broadcast in the school, an issue regarding a vacant position in the Student Council is brought up, with the missing member absent for a whole month because he had to be hospitalized. According to the rumors, the cause was anus laceration, with Nanao absolutely refusing to hear any of the details. Omi intentionally mentions Takuto's name as his choice, which shocks everyone, and sends someone on the warpath against him. He's also a member of the Student Council, and he introduces himself as…

The school day ends, and Takuto is assigned cleaning duty along with Ryouko. Nanao is hoping for Takuto to go join her somewhere afterhe finished cleaning, but interruptions from Kouhei, Tsurugi and Tomoe will end up with Nanao being dragged along by Tomoe in the search for Omi's "My Darling", so that she could beat that person up. Little does she know that the person was already in front of her, only he isn't willing to admit it, or accept it for that matter. Omi then comes into the picture while Takuto's class is cleaning up, and declares the whole thing to be a "Student Council" activity for the sake of the students, after which he then sends every other student home, save for him, Takuto and Ryouko. I'll leave it up to your imagination as to what happened next.

After the whole thing, Kouhei greets Takuto while he’s on the way back to his apartment, but an unknown girl stands in front of Takuto’s path. She knocks Kouhei unconscious and declares that Takuto must come with her, lest she resort to using brute force. Takuto runs away from her and ends up in a park, where the girl catches up to him and ends up trying to force Takuto to come along with her. A beautiful stranger in armor wielding a sword intervenes and drives away the girl, and much to Takuto's surprise, the girl who ended up saving him is Takami-san. The girl tells the both of them that this isn't the end of things, and that no matter what, she will make Takuto come with him no matter what. As she leaves, Takuto turns to thank Takami-san for coming to his aid, but she instead tells him that he must forget that this whole thing ever happened. As she too makes her exit, Takuto remembers that during their fight, he saw a bright light emerging from the inside of his bag.

Reaching into it, and unable to find the score from where he placed it, he pulls out something else…

Kaede! And Ai!

The whole story starts off with Shinichi breaking a (cheap-looking) mirror that he saw in a flea market while he was looking around for Ai-chan, his “little sister” (who was busy running around like a headless chicken). An old man was trying to sell it to him, but he accidentally breaks it after some girl accidentally knocks into him, and a strange pattern ends up appearing on his arms.

The next day, a cosplaying religious solicitator nutcase girl dressed as a nun appears at his doorstep, and after introducing herself as Seihouin Erika, tells Shinichi that he can rest assured and leave the curse to her. What she’s referring to is the pattern on his left hand, and she tells him that she’ll handle it, after a few harsh remarks and insults regarding his sanity and manhood. Standard tsundere fare. She says that she’ll need to closely monitor him in order to purify the curse, and after she tries to abduct convince Shinichi to live with her in the hotel where she’s staying for the time being, he objects. What happens next is that Erika buys out his parents as a way of paying for the rent so that she can stay at his house instead, and Shinichi’s parents gladly accept, leaving the house ASAP. Of course, he gets additional guests: a miko classmate of his who is actually the whole school’s most sought-after girl, the school’s nurse who’s quite tennen, and a mysterious girl from nowhere who comes crashing in from Shinichi’s attic. Hilarity ensues as they all try and live under one roof.

Takahara Shinichi

and the guy who has a curse haunting him, which is the whole reason why all four girls (excluding Ai-chan, since she’s already staying with him) are staying at his house. He’s quite a character: he’s fickle, is quite a goofball, and definitely perverted. He’s not like most nice guy eroge protagonists, as he often sleeps in class, tends to joke around with the girls, and shares a hobby with his friend Hamaoka Ryouta…in collecting ero DVDs and manga (though he won’t admit to Ryouta being his friend). He often thinks of himself first, and is quite dense when it comes to relationships, as with all harem leads.

He’s not that bad, though, and definitely nowhere near the level of School Days’ Makoto bad. Shinichi is quite sarcastic and often jokes around with everyone though he actually cares for the people around him, though he won’t openly admit it. And when push comes to shove, he takes a stand in order to protect those dearest to him, no matter what the cost. All in all, he’s quite likable. There’s more to his character than meets the eye, and there’s also a reason as to why he’s become so cynical and lazy.

Takahara Ai

Ai isn’t actually Shinichi’s blood sister - her parents died several years ago, and Shinichi’s family decided to adopt her, as they were already friends before the whole incident. She’s quite cheerful, hyperactive and genki, and is always the one to wake up Shinichi whenever it’s time to go to school. Beware of her ladle: it’s her hissatsu waza, and is usually used whenever she spouts the words “oniichan no baka“, “super baka“, etc, and she can summon it from out of nowhere. She’s terribly infatuated with Shinichi, and she’s always rushing towards his classroom during lunchtime so she can share her bento with him. Unfortunately for Shinichi, her bento easily rivals Kusuha’s health drink in terms of how it can effectively bring a person unconscious.

Seihouin Erika

laughs with the back of her open hand covering her mouth, and packs quite a punch (and kick) to boot. Shinichi knows that last one best. She moves into Shinichi’s house in order to purify him of the curse, as is her duty as a Sister of the Seihouin Church. Thing is, she doesn’t know what the exact nature of the curse is, what it does, and how to purify it. After moving in with Shinichi, she enters his school as a transfer student, and immediately moves up the list of popular girls in school, almost beating Kaede out of her top spot.

Despite that harsh demeanor and sarcastic tongue, she has quite a soft spot for helping out people, though she just doesn’t like to show it. It’s also hilarious seeing the other characters make fun of Erika’s being a gaijin. Her route is the next one I’ll be going for, because aside from her hotness,

Yuki Yukie

Shinichi’s school nurse, she also takes up residence in Shinichi’s house. Her reason? She’s there to try and cure Shinichi of whatever ailment is inflicting him…which is, of course, referring to the curse. She’s quite an airhead, though she’s very smart, but her behavior will lead you to think otherwise. Oh, and she’s a pretty good driver too, if you can catch this reference:

Tsukimiya Kaede

Ah, Tsukimiya Kaede. Miko of the Shinto Shrine near Shinichi’s place, and his classmate. She’s very popular, though she’s not aware of it. In the words (or thoughts) of Shinichi himself. She’s quite soft-spoken, and is easily rattled and startled, but she’s very good natured and cares a lot about other people. She also smiles a lot, and even Shinichi remarked that her smile never seems to leave her face.
Photobucket

She’s also quite a cook, which is something that Shinichi wasn’t expecting, and is definitely better than Ai, if you ask him. She often stutters whenever Shinichi is around her, and is prone to being easily confused, gasping for breath, blushing a deep shade of crimson, fainting, and occasionally, collapsing while her eyes swirl around
Photobucket
Oh, and she also tends to get physically weak whenever she and Shinichi are together in an isolated corner of a room. Don’t ask me why. Or for that matter, how.

Arima Mari

She’s a witch who dropped down on Shinichi’s attic the night Yuki and Kaede moved in with Shinichi, and brainwashed Kaede’s memory into thinking that Mari is someone familiar to her when she came up to investigate the noise. She’s a witch who was trained in Northern Russia, at least according to Erika, and her purpose for coming is the same as Yuki’s, Erika’s, and Kaede’s: to purify the curse on Shinichi’s hand.

She doesn’t speak a lot, and often replies with either nods or shakes of the head. She also refers to herself as “washi“. She performs karate chops in order to use her magic, and she transfers to Shinichi’s school two days after Erika. If I remember right, she can barely cook, and she always carries that stuffed animal around with her.
